Lagos Airport Informational Guide to Murtala Muhammed International Airport- LOS - Non Official

Lagos Airport International Terminal

Lagos Airport International Terminal opened in 1979. It is owned by the government of Nigeria and handles international services to Africa, Middle East, UAE and some destinations in Europe.

The International Terminal underwent a major renovation in 2013. Nowadays, it can handle up to 1,000 passengers per hour.

As a curiosity, it was modelled after Amsterdam Schipol Airport.

The International Terminal facilities are split into the following levels:

Ground level

This is the Arrivals level.

First level

This level is where Departures are located.

Find here boarding areas E-wing and D-wing.

Some VIP lounges are also located in this level.

Mezzanine level

Find in this level some concessions and amenities such as VIP lounges.

Transfer between terminals

Both terminals are located almost 2 km (1 mile) apart.

Passengers can transfer between terminals either on foot or by taxi

We advise passengers that Lagos Airport International Terminal is known for its poor facilities, lack of air conditioned, problems with food and dirty bathrooms.
